The Grammy awards are being handed out tonight, which means that 90 percent of the night is being spent watching performers sing song and dance around the stage — or if you’re Lorde, stand still, twitch and look way older than you actually are.
One of the highlights of the night was a salute to The Beetles, as Ringo Starr took to the stage to sing one of his own songs for the audience at the Grammys. It wasn’t an official salute to The Beetles, but we weren’t expecting a reunion anyways so getting just Ringo wasn’t all that bad.
Artists all night long have been citing the power that The Beetles had on them and getting them to where they are tonight, so that in of itself is a tribute enough. Seeing Ringo Starr rock out like he is still back in the middle of his solo act in the 70s and 80s was good to see as well.
