It was just a few weeks ago that the LSU Tigers and offensive line coach Greg Studwara went their separate ways and it didn’t take long for Studwara to land back on his feet. Over the weekend, it was announced Studwara had joined the coaching staff of the Maryland Terrapins, where he will again focus on coaching the offensive line.
“Greg will be a great addition to our coaching staff,” head coach Randy Edsall said in a statement. “He comes from a diverse coaching background, with experience coordinating an offense as well as working with the offensive line. He has helped many players reach their goal of playing at the next level and his ability to teach will be very important in the development of our student-athletes.”
Studwara will be replacing former offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo, who spent less than a week on the job before bolting for an NFL job.
This could turn out to be a good hiring for the Terps, if Studwara is able to stay on the coaching staff for more than six days. Considering he spent the past seven seasons with Les Miles, it is safe to assume that Studwara will make it.
