The Michigan State Spartans and Michigan Wolverines met on Saturday night, with the Wolverines upending Michigan State on the Spartans home court. While the Wolverines had the last laugh, the Michigan State crowd got in some impressive taunting when Michigan guard Spike Albrecht lined up for some free throws.
Albrecht, who is a sophomore, sports a style that is similar to troubled pop star Justin Bieber’s before he went with the Ellen Degeneres look.
Because of that, Albrecht was subject to some “Justin Bieber” chants from the rowdy Michigan State crowd when he went to the charity stripe. Albrecht missed one of the free throws during his trip to the line.
Here is a video of the Bieber chant:
Some players will say that they tune out crowd noise during a game, but Albrecht made no secret about the fact that he heard the chants and he was actually entertained.
Last thing I’m gonna say about tonight’s game..The J Biebs chant was kinda funny lol
