St. Louis Rams defensive end Robert Quinn was the top defensive vote-getter in the NFC and will serve as a captain on Team Rice for today’s Pro Bowl. But while Quinn is soaking up the rays and enjoying his time in Hawaii, he has also been motivated by the incentives that will go to the top performers at the Pro Bowl.

“This year, they’re giving out a defensive MVP, and that guy gets a car,” Quinn said, via the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “So if you win the game and get the defensive MVP, you come home with a little bigger check and a brand new car.”

On top of the bonuses, Quinn doesn’t want to put out any bad tape.

“I don’t want to put any bad film on tape with bad plays,” Quinn said. “So I’ll see what I can do.”

If there are more players in today’s game that are hoping to land a free car and bonus money, then we could see their competitive spirits come out.

Of course, there are some veterans who couldn’t care less about a car and they will likely take it easy on the field, but the younger guys who still have the fire inside of them could show up to play at Aloha Stadium on Sunday evening.
