Seahawks in-flight food menu for Super Bowl XLVIII has no Skittles
By Bryan Rose
The Seattle Seahawks boarded a plane this afternoon en route to New York where they’ll take on the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII.
One would have assumed the team would have been provided complimentary Skittles on their flight, but apparently not as the team issued in-flight food menu lacked any mention of the fruity delectable.
ESPN’s Darren Rovell posted a photo of the menu which featured snack items like seedless grapes, granola bars, Pop Chips, mixed nuts, fresh fruits and cheeses. Candy? No place to be found.
The Seahawks and Delta were looking for some healthy options obviously but the inclusion of a handful of soda’s squashed that thought.
Regardless, looks like the Seahawks will be eating well.
Sign me up for some of that rotisserie chicken and the macaroni and cheese.
Also – only ranch and a raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing? That’s the best we can do for the NFC Champions? All that space on the 777 and they can’t put in a few more packets of salad dressing.
Guess they don’t get any Skittles sausage either then?
