3-star cornerback Cornelius Floyd committed to the Razorbacks on Monday.
Otis Kirk of 24/7 Sports has the scoop.
Floyd visited Arkansas the Jan. 17 weekend. He hosted Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema and assistants Randy Shannon and Rory Segrest today for an in-home visit. Floyd talked about what he likes about Arkansas.
“The coaches, players and fans,” Floyd said. “The fans are crazy and show plenty of love. My visit there was a 10.”
The 6’1, 190-pound Floyd attends Gulliver Prep in Miami, Florida and will the Razorbacks a cornerback with size that so many schools covet.
Like Edwards, former Miami Hurricanes’ head coach Randy Shannon was Floyd’s lead recruiter. The Razorbacks have used Shannon’s South Florida ties to get into Miami and it has really paid off. Last season, the Razorbacks landed 5-star running back Alex Collins.
