The Arkansas Razorbacks got a commitment from three-star wide receiver Kendrick Edwards on Monday.
Otis Kirk of 24/7 Sports first broke the story.
Miami (Fla.) Norland 3-star wide receiver Kendrick Edwards has committed to Arkansas over Louisville and others.
Edwards visited Arkansas this past weekend. He caught 15 passes for 256 yards and two touchdowns in a running offense this season.
Edwards is commitment No. 22 for the Hogs.
The 6’6, 205-pound Edwards attends Norland High School in Miami, Florida and should proved a big target for the Razorbacks’ offense.
Edwards was very interested in the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. He camped with them in the summer and officially visited Rutgers back in December. However, Arkansas has been all over Edwards and he has been recruited hard by cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson and linebackers’ coach Randy Shannon. Shannon, the former Miami Hurricanes’ head coach knows South Florida well and developed a good relationship with Edwards.
Edwards officially visited Arkansas last weekend and was clearly impressed. He tentatively has a visited scheduled to the Louisville Cardinals this weekend.
