This past weekend saw the Baltimore Ravens narrow their search for an offensive coordinator down to two candidates. Then we all woke up this morning to the sound of Gary Kubiak singing his new favorite Daft Punk song, as the former Houston Texans coach flew out to Baltimore under the radar and came to get lucky.
After coming out of nowhere in the coaching search, Kubiak was announced as a finalist on Monday morning and was announced as the Ravens new offensive coordinator in the afternoon.
The #Ravens will announce the hire of new OC Gary Kubiak today at 3 pm. Unclear if there will be other staff changes

At last check this weekend, the two candidates considered finalists for the job were wide receivers coach Jim Hostler and former Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan. Things looked to be leaning Shanahan’s way but out of nowhere Kubiak swooped in to secure the job.
Kubiak was a name on the Cleveland Browns‘ radar, which means their search for an offensive coordinator might ow include Shanahan who finds himself still unemployed.
