UFC Lightweight, Nate Diaz, has been on the wrong side of the headlines for the last few weeks. After a dominating TKO victory over Gray Maynard back at the TUF 18 finale, Diaz has been supposedly waiting for the right fight to step back inside the Octagon. Earlier this month, Dana White said that Diaz turned down a fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov; a claim that Diaz and his managers vehemently denied. With the UFC’s Lightweight division in limbo due to Anthony Pettis’ injury, many wonder where that leaves Nate Diaz.
This weekend, Diaz watched the UFC on FOX 10 main event in hopes of getting a clearer picture of his path to the title. Instead, the main event only made the division more convoluted after a controversial split decision victory for Benson Henderson. After the fight, Diaz took to Twitter to share his displeasure with the main event.

Clearly Diaz was unimpressed by the ‘wrestling match’ that Henderson and Thomson put out for the fans on Saturday night. Diaz has never been a point fighter like he suggests Henderson and Thomson to be. Unfortunately for Diaz, he was beaten by both Henderson and Thomson, so his claims are slightly off base.
Diaz also seemingly calls out Anthony Pettis, who worked on the FOX broadcast on Saturday night, saying that no one cares about his opinion and that he should stop pulling out of fights.
This is nothing new from Nate Diaz, as he is not a fan of fighters looking to go to a decision. As of now, Diaz is in an odd position in the UFC’s Lightweight division. He has lost to Benson Henderson and Josh Thomson, but has beaten Gray Maynard, Jim Miller, and Donald Cerrone. It seems that Diaz’s next fight will likely have to be a rematch with one of those men.
