NBA Power Rankings Week 13: Don’t look now, but the East is rising

For most of this season, the Eastern Conference has been a complete joke. Most of the conference was under .500, and it looked like the entire conference was on pace to be one of the worst conferences in the history of professional sports.

Like most things in life, things have played themselves out back to the norm. All of the playoff teams are over .500 except for three, and the Nets and Wizards are right on the .500 line.

The Western Conference is still marginally better, but it seems as if the East is starting to rise. It’s Monday, which means we are going to take both conferences and rank all 30 teams. This is the last power rankings with David Stern as commissioner, so let us all take a moment of silence in remembrance of his tenure.
