According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, former Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan may not have a place on the Baltimore Ravens staff after all.  The team just announced that Gary Kubiak would be coming in as the offensive coordinator and Shanahan worked under Kubiak when he was head coach of the Houston Texans, but that does not seem to be guaranteeing Shanahan a job in Baltimore.

There had been a report from John McClain, the long time writer for the Houston Chronicle, that one of the reasons Kubiak liked the job at Baltimore was because he could reunite with Kubiak as well as Rick Dennison.  Dennison appears to have a role with the Ravens.  It is unclear what the hang up would be for Shanahan if the relationship with Kubiak was overstated or if the organization simply does not want him.  It is also possible that Shanahan simply wants a bigger role elsewhere.

There are reports that Shanahan will have a job, but his role simply has not been announced yet.
