The people over at Warner Bros. have given us another look at 300: Rise of an Empire thanks to a new TV Spot that was released earlier today.
The film will take place before, during, and after the fall of King Leonidas and the mighty 300. Just in case you aren’t familiar with the premise of the second chapter in the 300 saga, here is a look at the official synopsis for 300: Rise of an Empire courtesy of IMDB.com.
After its victory over Leonidas’ 300, the Persian Army under the command of Xerxes marches south towards the major Greek city-states. The Democratic city of Athens, first on the path of Xerxes’ army, bases its strength on its fleet, led by admiral Themistocles. Themistocles is forced to an unwilling alliance with the traditional rival of Athens, oligarchic Sparta whose might lies with its superior infantry troops. But Xerxes still reigns supreme in numbers over sea and land.”
In the new TV Spot, we get a closer look at the actual battle between the two sides. King Xerxes is determined that with the help of Artemisia and her armies, the city of Athens will burn in their wake.
