The Cleveland Cavaliers said they wanted to see what they had after acquiring Luol Deng.
So far the results have been average which could lead to the team making improvements come the upcoming NBA trade deadline. One name rumored to potentially be on the move is guard C.J. Miles who according to Fox Sports’ Sam Amico (and Cleveland insider) is drawing trade interest around the league.
The same goes for Cavaliers guard C.J. Miles, although to a significantly lesser extent.
Amico was referencing heavy trade interest in Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger before dropping the nugget on Miles, thus, the ‘comparison’.
Miles is on a very cheap $2.25 million dollar contract and is a free agent at season end. Add in that he’s playing some of the best basketball of his career, Cleveland could find themselves a relatively solid asset if they were to move Miles.
Rumors have linked the Houston Rockets to Miles in the past week as Houston is in desperate need of a three-point shooter, something Miles excels in.
