It’s been a rough few seasons for New Orleans Pelicans guard Eric Gordon.
Once thought to be a key part of their re-build, Gordon has dealt with a handful of injuries and is still working his way back into a previous form. But he may not get to do so in New Orleans as the team has reportedly placed him on the trade block.
Gordon understandably isn’t thrilled with that news and has seemingly tired of the constant rumors, suggesting he’d just like some type of resolution moving forward.
“It would be great to have that security to know if you’re going to be here or not,” Gordon said. “At the end of the day, I can’t worry about that. All I can do is worry about trying to win.”
The NBA’s trade deadline is just a few weeks away so Gordon won’t have much longer to wait.
The veteran out of Indiana University still has nearly $15 million dollars remaining next season on his contract in addition to a $15 million dollar player option for the 2015-16 season.
