A frosty late Winter storm has hampered the Midwestern United States the past few days and has now moved towards the east and south, bring bone chilling temperatures and snow to places as far south as Florida.

Included in the Winter weather is Alabama, who awoke to a snow covered landscape which includes a completely white Talladega Superspeedway.

The rare snowfall was relatively heavy, not only covering the parking lot and entrance to the landmark race track but also blanketing the sloped track as well.

How neat would it be to fire up about twenty snowmobiles with your friends and race around the famed ‘Dega Speedway?

According to Weather.com, current conditions say Talladega is 18 degrees and high temperatures won’t exceed 40 degrees until Thursday, so the snow should stick to the ground for a little bit.

Pretty rare and beautiful occurrence.

Of course, with such massive and unexpected snow storms, emergency situations pop up – so our best wishes to those dealing with power outages and cold temperatures. Relief is expected to come in the next 36-48 hours.
