UFC 169: Dana White video blog

The UFC is back in New Jersey this Super Bowl weekend for a stacked pay per view event. UFC 169 features two title fights in the Bantamweight and Featherweight divisions respectively. Long time Featherweight champion, Jose Aldo, will take on surging contender, Ricardo Lamas, in the co-main event of the evening. The main event of the evening will be the Bantamweight title fight between newly minted undisputed champion, Renan Barao, and perennial contender, Urijah Faber.

In preparation for the big event, Dana White has released a brand new video blog. This week, MMA fans are treated to the behind the scenes of the UFC’s mammoth UFC 168 event. The event was headlined by the Middleweight championship rematch between Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman. The fight was arguably the most hyped fight in the history of the sport. The fight ended in the most shocking and gruesome fashion imaginable, with Silva breaking his leg after Weidman checked a leg kick.

Overall, the UFC 168 event was fantastic as it also featured the Women’s Bantamweight championship bout between heated rivals, Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate. Rousey ultimately defeated Tate by third round armbar in a fantastic fight.

Michael Johnson, Uriah Hall, and Travis Browne all picked up impressive TKO/KO victories at the event as well.
