4-star J.C. Jackson will not visit Florida State

According to Andrew Spivey of Gator Country, 4-star wide receiver/cornerback J.J. Jackson will not visit the Florida State Seminoles.

Jackson originally committed to Florida State back in March of 2012 following an unofficial visit to Tallahassee.  After staying committed through the 2012 season, he decommitted in June of last year and committed to the Florida Gators a few days later.

However, as of late, Jackson has been considered a shaky commitment at best. Jackson’s interest in Florida State has seemingly turned back up and he has also shown a lot of interest in the Miami Hurricanes.

The 5’10, 180-pounder attends Immokalee High School in Immokalee, Florida and that school has been known to produce rather dramatic recruiting situations (see the Alexander twins, Mackenro, who signed with the Auburn Tigers and MacKensie, who signed with the Clemson Tigers, last year).

Jackson was reportedly supposed to officially visit Florida State this weekend and most pundits figured that if he did, he would flip to the Seminoles.

Instead, it appears as though he’ll be shopping for a new suit and choosing between Florida and Miami.
