Anna Kendrick stars in Newcastle non-Super Bowl ad (Video)

Newcastle Brown Ale and actress Anna Kendrick teamed up for a hilarious Super Bowl ad, though it isn’t really an ad. The clip uploaded to YouTube is a “behind the scenes” talk with Kendrick about the commercial, and it is hilarious and staged.

It starts off with Kendrick talking about how stupid it is to make a Super Bowl commercial without actually being able to say Super Bowl. Comedy Central late night host Stephen Colbert tackled this same topic on his show earlier this week.

Every time she mentions it, the name gets bleeped out. Of course we find out that Newcastle doesn’t even have the money to make an ad and air it during the game. She then goes on to rant at Newcastle and debate with herself whether she is “beer commercial hot.” Check it out below:
