Deport Justin Bieber petition has 100K signatures, now requires White House response

Could Justin Bieber’s time in the United States be coming to an end?

The irritating teen heartthrob has stepped on the toes of many in recent weeks with his child-like antics and a petition to revoke Bieber’s green card has amassed over 100K signatures.

Because of the size, the White House must respond to the petition in a timely fashion.

Per Entertainment Weekly:

Nevertheless, less than a week after it was first posted to the government’s “We the People” platform, over 100,000 Americans have signed a petition asking the Obama administration to revoke Bieber’s green card. (Why? Because “he is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth.”) And according to the site’s terms of participation, this means that the White House must now respond to the petition “in a timely fashion.”

Just to think – a few days ago Bieber’s biggest problem was if the Miami Heat had banned him from upcoming games. Now he’s facing possible deportation.

Of course, the likelihood of that happening is slim to none (DUI’s aren’t grounds for deportation) and it’s somewhat unfortunate the White House has to even spend time on the petition, but it is pretty amusing regardless.
