You hear all the stories about coaches working over 100 hours in a week, sometimes barely sleeping if they even sleep at all. When they do sleep, sometimes it is in their office and they don’t even bother to go home.
It is the offseason, but for college coaches that is just as important as the regular season with recruits to persuade to come to your school. Georgia Bulldogs head coach Mark Richt is apparently unconcerned about all that recruiting non-sense and slept in on Wednesday.
Woke up to a beautiful snowy day in Athens, GEORGIA! Hope everyone is safe out there. Go Dawgs and God Bless!! pic.twitter.com/e8cY99E6Jh

(Nobody tell Coach Richt it’s already past noon…)

Of course with the way that snow has shut down Atlanta and most of Georgia, he probably couldn’t have gone into work or done much had he woke up earlier anyways. The other obvious explanation is that he woke up earlier and didn’t post until now, but it isn’t fun to think about that happening.
