The Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder have a pretty intense rivalry, even if it’s down played due to the fact that they’re in opposite conferences. While the Thunder own the West, the Heat gave LeBron James his first title ever at the expense of the Thunder, and it’s something Oklahoma City hasn’t forgotten.
One of the gripes that fans and other players have with the Heat is that they tend to get calls from the officials, and Thunder head coach Scott Brooks wasn’t about to have any of that on Wednesday night. After Reggie Jackson was trapped and trying to call a timeout, Scott Brooks wasn’t happy with how long it too officials to blow the whistle.
Brooks had words for the officials, which caused LeBron to have words with Brooks.
This wasn’t some WWE brawl, nor was it even that eventful between LeBron and Brooks, but it’s clear that these two teams do not like each other and the heat of the moment means that even players and coaches are bound to have words with one another.
