The New York Knicks are finally getting hot this season after a rough start to their year, and the recent hot streak has helped fans forget that there’s a massive decision looming in the offseason regarding the future of Carmelo Anthony with the team.

Recent rumors have suggested that Melo is thinking about leaving the Knicks to play with the Chicago Bulls in 2014-15, but Anthony has broken his silence on the matter. According to Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv, Anthony laughed off the Bulls rumors, taking it almost as though it was a joke from reporters.

"“Not at all,” he said. “I don’t have [a relationship] with Thibs [Tom Thibodeau]. That was a good one, though.”"

Knicks fans want to keep hearing things like this from Melo, as it seems all they’ve been hearing about is how their star player will burn them at the end of the season and leave for another team. It’s encouraging for Knicks fans to hear Melo laugh rumors off, but it hardly means this Melo is a lock to stay.
