Texas A&M star Johnny Manziel is going to be one of the most controversial prospects in the 2014 NFL Draft class, but many believe he can be in the discussion for the Houston Texans with the No. 1 overall pick.

However, that’s not the case with Dane Brugler of CBS Sports.

Brugler released his top 50 big board for the 2014 NFL Draft and he ranked Manziel as the 38-ranked prospect in the draft class.

Brugler wrote:

A magician at quarterback, Manziel has the arm strength, competitive spirit and natural instincts that make him an exciting football player. But his decision-making and durability are strong question marks, making his transition to the NFL difficult to predict.

There aren’t many people willing to rank Manziel outside of the top 32, but there are certainly a handful of people that have the same concerns Brugler expressed.

It will be intriguing to see where Mannziel ends up being drafted, so buckle up and prepare for a wild ride with the most interesting prospect in the world.
