The New York Jets are in need of a desperate upgrade at wide receiver come the 2015 season and few (if any) wide receivers on the free agent market are better than Eric Decker.

So could the Jets have interest in the Denver Broncos wideout? That seems to be the case according to the New York Post who hints the team may attempt to court Decker in free agency.

"Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker could be one of the most in-demand players in the NFL in two months. That is when Decker is scheduled to hit free agency, and he widely is viewed as the best receiver in a thin market. The Jets will be a team in the market for wide receivers, so the 26-year-old may be a target of theirs"

Decker and the Broncos are using the Jets practice facility in preparation for Sunday’s Super Bowl XLVIII and the Minnesota native commented on how nice everything is. That said, he told the NYP he had not thought about playing for the Jets (or anybody else) as his thoughts are focused on the big game.
