The 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale is a 162-yard par-3 surrounded by stadium-style seating for 15,000 spectators.

The spectators on the 16th have no qualms booing a poor shot.  However, if a player hits a good shot, then they will probably never hear a louder roar.

The best thing about the 16th, is the players enjoy the crowd interaction.  Some players give out free hats, and other players try to do something unusual.  For example, Padraig Harrington can be seen in the video kicking footballs into the crowd.

Although the 16th is only 162 yards, the crowd makes the hole difficult.  So far today, only 51% of the players have hit the green in regulation.  Hopefully, the players will settle down the rest of the week, and we will hear more cheers than boos.
