In 2013, Buffalo Bills QB E.J. Manuel showed flashes in his rookie season of being someone that this franchise can build around, at times. Unfortunately, the majority of the focus was put on the injuries that the former Florida State Seminoles standout had to deal with, which limited his progression mightily.

Recently, Manuel revealed that he has underwent a minor procedure on his left knee, hopefully helping in keeping him healthy so he can perform at the highest level in 2014 and keep building this franchise.

Manuel was selected by the Bills as the first quarterback taken in the 2013 NFL Draft, which came as a surprise to many. He began to show some health concerns when he missed a good majority of the preseason with an injury, followed by his limited regular season action.

Hopefully, with this procedure and the time to rest, the Bills and Manuel can pick up where they left off last season.
