The Jacksonville Jaguars coached up the South squad at the 2014 Senior Bowl last week, and now they will be turning their attention to the NFL Draft.

Thanks to their experience coaching some of the top senior prospects in Mobile, Alabama, Jaguars general manager David Caldwell believes that the team is better prepared for their draft preparation.

“There were 110 guys there that we now feel good about,” Caldwell said, via the Florida Times-Union. “Generally, some of those guys we’d be interested in working out or bringing in for a visit. We don’t have to do that with a lot of those guys, because we had them for a week. There’s not that much more that we need to know about those players in terms of a workout or interview.”

The South roster included quarterbacks Derek Carr, David Fales and Jimmy Garoppolo, so it will be interesting to see whether or not the Jaguars will favor one of those three signal-callers.

In order to select Carr, Jacksonville would likely have to reach. However, Fales and Garoppolo will be available at the top of Round 2.

There have been previous reports that the Jaguars could target Garoppolo with their top pick in the second round, so don’t be surprised if they decide to select Jadeveon Clowney with their first-round pick and then take the Eastern Illinois signal-caller to lead their franchise moving forward.
