Teams interested in right handed free agent pitcher A.J. Burnett waited patiently to see if he was going to retire or not. Burnett had a bit of interest from the Pittsburgh Pirates, Tampa Bay Rays, Baltimore Orioles and a couple other teams.

Now that the league received word that Burnett will pitch in 2014, the hunt for his services is back on. Things are starting to pick up and something should get done within the next couple days with pitchers and catchers reporting to team complexes in just seven days.

According to Peter Gammons on Twitter, it appears that the Baltimore Orioles are all in on Burnett.

Burnett made 30 starts in his final year with the Pittsburgh Pirates while recording a 3.30 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, 209 strike outs through 191 innings. The 37 year old could receive a two year contract. He also lives in Maryland.

What do you think Orioles fans? Would you be happy with this signing?
