Since leaving the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Anthony “Rumble” Johnson has gone on a tear in the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions. Johnson has had fights at both weight classes, but his focus has been at 205 pounds and his last outing was one of the most impressive.
On Jan. 18, Johnson scored a devastating first-round knockout over Mike Kyle, in the final fight of his contract with World Series of Fighting.
Now that Johnson is a free agent, many had been wondering whether or not the UFC would give him another look and president Dana White said today during a media event for UFC 169 that the organization was interested.
From Mike Chiappetta of FOX Sports:
Dana White says the UFC has an interest in free agent Anthony Johnson. “I’ve always liked the kid.”

If anyone is deserving of another crack in the UFC, it is Johnson.
He is currently riding a six-fight winning streak, with four of those wins coming by knockout.
