Alex Gonzalez to sign with Orioles

Alex Gonzalez is looking to rebound with the Baltimore Orioles.

Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports that the soon-to-be-37-year-old Gonzalez has signed with the Orioles on a minor league deal with an invite to Spring Training. He comes off of two injury shortened seasons in Milwaukee, during which he played a total of only 65 games.

Gonzalez has played for 15 seasons for 6 different teams, and is a career .246/.290/.396 hitter. He will look to provide depth for Baltimore and compete for a job off of the bench during Spring Training.
