Super Bowl Sunday is only two days away. That being the case, we have seen a lot of reveals over the past few days. We have seen new posters, trailers, and even first looks at the various spots that will be unveiled during the Big Game. Just a little while ago, Sony Pictures unveiled the first part of their epic Super Bowl XLVIII TV Spot.
Just to get you up to speed on what is going on in the second installation of The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, here is a look at the official synopsis of the film, courtesy of Sony Pictures Entertainment.
We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead. It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.”
The trailer gives us a quick look at some of the action in the film. We see Spidey face off with all of the villains he is to face in the new film; Electro, the Green Goblin, and Rhino. I must say that from what I have seen so far, I am impressed with the visuals in the film, but I will reserve my final judgment until we get a look at it on the big screen.
Here is a look at the first part of the epic trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 that will air during Super Bowl XLVIII.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to be released in RealD 3D, IMAX 3D, and Conventional Theaters on May 2, 2014.
