Arbitration: Royals, Aaron Crow agree on deal

Joel Sherman reports that Aaron Crow and the Kansas City Royals will not be going to arbitration.

After exchanging figures two weeks ago, Crow and the Royals agreed on a one-year, $1.475 million contract for 2014. The deal also includes a $50,000 bonus if Crow earns a spot on the All-Star squad. Initially, Crow had asked for $1.7 million and the club countered with a $1.28 million offer.

Aaron Crow has three years of service time under his belt, having been an All-Star in his rookie year. Last season, he compiled a 7-3 record with a 3.38 ERA in 57 games all in relief. In 2013, he earned $1.28 million.
