With the final full week of fantasy basketball ahead of us before a short week leading into All-Star Weekend, every roster spot counts as you try to finish strong heading into the break.  As you fine-tune your lineup or play daily league basketball, it’s vital to the strength of your roster to make sure you keep tabs on players who are stepping into bigger roles who can also contribute to your fantasy team.

This week’s a pretty even one scheduling-wise with only Charlotte and Houston having schedules to avoid with just two games in the coming scoring period (Monday-Sunday). Most teams have four games in that same period meaning that as much as possible I’d stay away from the Rockets and Bobcats except for star players like Al Jefferson (pictured above).

There are plenty of fringe options who make nice plays this week due to their favorable schedules and current form. Here are my top ten pickups for the week divided into five guard options and five for the front court.
