The Memphis Grizzlies are just a half game out of the eighth playoff seed in the Western Conference and are trying to keep the Minnesota Timberwolves down in the dumps on Friday night. The Grizzlies haven’t been setting the NBA on fire this season but they have been doing a fine job of staying competitive.
A lot of that is owed to how well the team held up while Marc Gasol sat out with an injury, but now that the Grizzlies big man is back, the team is starting to heat up. Gasol threw down a dunk with authority on Friday night after Mike Conley dished him a pass the he spiked off the court.
The Grizzlies may not be a dominant force, but they’re not a team to take lightly, especially now that Gasol is back.
