The future of NFL wide receiver Justin Blackmon is currently unknown, but Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan says he wants the suspended back with the team next season.

Blackmon, who was suspended earlier in the season can reapply for reinstatement for the 2014 NFL season though it’s not known when he can reapply. Regardless, soon as he’s eligible, Khan wants him back in teal and black.

"Shad Khan said he “absolutely” wants receiver Justin Blackmon to remain with #jaguars once he’s reinstated."

Blackmon, who entered a rehab facility back in November is one of the more talented wide receivers in the NFL when his head is on straight. But as we’ve seen far too often, you can only take so much before you have to wash your hands of a player no matter how much talent they harness.

The former Oklahoma State product is a repeat offender of the NFL’s substance abuse policy and you have to wonder not only how many more chances he’ll get with the Jaguars, but with the league in general. His margin for error moving forward is extremely thin.
