One year after they won the Super Bowl, the Baltimore Ravens found themselves 8-8 on the season, and just missed the postseason. Part of that was due to a bad year for running back Ray Rice. Rice suffered a hip injury week 2, and he clearly affected his performance throughout the season.
But if you were to ask Rice what he thinks will happen next season, you’ll hear things similar to the 2012-13 season for the Ravens. Rice is guaranteeing a Super Bowl appearance, and a win at that, according to ESPN.
“I’m guaranteeing that we’ll be back,” Rice said during Super Bowl week in New York, via Comcast SportsNet. “We don’t have complacent guys. None of us are happy with what happened (last year). None of us. But we’re going to add pieces. And you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see what we’ve added in coaching. That’s going to help put it all together.”
