Chandler Parsons whiffs alley-oop attempt against Cleveland (video)

It’s okay, Parsons. It happens to the best of us. (Well, not me. My hops are mad.)

During Saturday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets forward Chandler Parsons received a beautiful alley-oop toss from James Harden. It was a gorgeous sequence, beginning with a powerful block by center Dwight Howard. Unfortunately, the rim ended up getting the best of the Parsons.

Frank Den captured the video so it can live for eternity:

Really, there’s no shame in being rim-checked like that. (Okay, there is an aspect of shame, but there are far more shameful things to endure.) Parsons has been throwing down sick alley-oop dunks all season, so we can forgive one tragic misfire. Also, as the announcer is quick to point out, Parsons leads the NBA in total distance traveled per game. So yeah, tired legs and whatnot.

We’ll have a recap of the game once it’s finished, so stay tuned.
