It was just a few days ago that reports surfaced saying the Cleveland Browns had moved on from considering former Washington Redskins assistant Kyle Shanahan as the team’s offensive coordinator, but the team has done a 180 and now they will be bringing him back on board.

Alex Marvez of FOX Sports initially reported that Shanahan has been hired as the Browns new offensive coordinator, and Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network has since confirmed that report.

Shanahan has some great weapons on the Browns offense in wide receiver Josh Gordon and tight end Jordan Cameron, but he will need to find a capable quarterback and running back before he can make the team’s offense a real force.
