Manchester United dropped another game, this time 2-1 loss on the road to Stoke City. After the game United manager David Moyes struggled to name what his squad needed to do to win, suggesting they were just unlucky in this contest.
“I don’t know what we have to do to win. We played well today,” Moyes said, via Sky Sports. ”We lost to a wicked deflection from a free-kick and a worldy of a strike.
“The amount of opportunities and chances we created, we should have won the game. We only have ourselves to blame for not taking those chances, but I thought it was a good performance.”
Moyes is referring to Charlie Adam’s strike that went in off a deflection off of Michael Carrick. Adam then scored on an incredible strike from about 20 yards out that went to the top-right corner. Stoke got their first league win over United since Boxing Day 1984.
