The Jacksonville Jaguars are still looking for a quarterback to lead this team. While they’re interested in re-signing Chad Henne, Jaguars owner Shad Khan suggested they could take one or two quarterbacks in the draft.

“I think there’s no mystery that we’re going to be taking a quarterback and maybe two,” Khan said, via the Florida Times-Union. “It’s one of the maxims in modern football — the quarterback is key. You will get no debate on that. It’s 53 people on a team, but that one person really, really makes a difference.”

Khan doesn’t necessarily say with the first pick, so don’t think they’ll be pursuing one of the draft’s best prospects at the position. But with the No. 3 pick you think they’d invest heavy in Teddy Bridgewater, Johnny Manziel or Blake Bortles.

The Jags have lots of wiggle room under the salary cap to be players in free agency if they want, though Khan says they’ll only pursue the right players.

“With the 10 draft picks and the right free agents, our goal is to get more competitive and we get better,” Khan said. “That’s the key thing.”
