After three rounds at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Bubba Watson leads by two strokes. Watson shot a three-under 68 to bring his three round total to 15-under par.
Kevin Stadler birdied five of his last six holes to jump into second place at 13-under total. He lives about a mile from TPC Scottsdale, and is using his local knowledge well this week. Stadler has 21 career top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour, and will be looking for his first win on Sunday.
Harris English bogied the final hole to fall into a tie for third place with Ryan Moore and Hideki Matsuyama at 12-under total. English fired a two-under 69 for his 20th straight under par round.
Ryan Moore made six birdies on the back nine to shoot a seven-under 64.
Matsuyama continues to show why he might be the next big star in golf with a three-under 68.
Brendan Steele shot the best round of the tournament to jump into a tie for sixth place. He started on the back nine, and made the turn at four-under. On the front nine, he birdied the par-five third hole, and holes five through eight to register a nine-under 62.
Hunter Mahan and Matt Jones are tied with Steele at eleven-under total. Mahan shot a six-under 65, and Jones had a tough day at one-over 72
