The NFL Honors aren’t just for current players this year as the awards show will also be announcing the next Hall of Fame class headed to Canton. The names of those who have been selected are already leaking out and so far the biggest name is one we expected to see get in.

According to Ralph Vacchiano, former New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan has been elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Strahan had a good chance of getting in, even if Tampa Bay Buccaneers Hall of Famer Warren Sapp disagreed. The two had better work things out, as both are now going to have busts inside the Hall of Fame in Canton. The night won’t likely see anyone bigger than Strahan get in, which is saying a lot about his career given the fact that guys like Derrick Brooks and others are likely to join him in the class of 2014.
