Uh, I would not want to be Brooklyn’s Joe Johnson tonight.
While discussing his All-Star Game snub with the New York Daily News, Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson made it clear he is not a happy camper at the moment. The 23-year-old said he’s out to prove to all the doubters that he was worthy of an All-Star spot, and his quest will commence against a Brooklyn Nets team on Saturday night that features one of the players (Joe Johnson) selected ahead of him:
I already had a chip on my shoulder and it made me even worse. Now I’m going to kill everybody who is in front of me.
Like I said, whoever made it in front of me or whoever is in my position who people think whose in front of me, I’m definitely going to go after them. You’ll definitely see that tonight – me going after (Johnson).
Tonight’s game between the Nets and the Pacers will begin 7:00 p.m. ET.
