The Nebraska Cornhuskers may have found their next quarterback.
3-star quarterback A.J. Bush committed to Nebraska on Sunday.
The 6’3, 211-pound Bush is considered the country’s 43rd best dual threat quarterback prospect, the 157th best prospect in Georgia and the 1,759th best overall prospect in the class of 2014.
Bush is from Alpharetta, Georgia and attends Norcross High School, the same school that 3-star wide receiver Myles Autry and 5-star defensive end Lorenzo Carter attend.
Bush took an official visit to Lincoln, Nebraska over the weekend.
“It was great and a great experience as soon as I stepped off the plane,” Bush told Michael Bruntz of 24/7 Sports. “I felt a connection – an instant connection – with all the coaches and the players. It was just a great feeling.”
Bush becomes the second quarterback to make his pledge to Nebraska. 3-star quarterback Zack Darlington out of Apopka High School in Florida, is already enrolled at Nebraska.
Bush also had offers from the Boston College Eagles, Cincinnati Bearcats, Kansas State Wildcats and Toledo Rockets, among others.
