We had been hearing about a reunion between the Seinfeld cast for a week now but we didn’t know when it would happen or what the reunion would entail. But all of our questions were answered at halftime of the Super Bowl when a commercial for Jerry Seinfeld’s web-series aired and served as a Seinfeld reunion between Jerry and George in New York.
Seinfeld had said it wouldn’t be a Super Bowl commercial that saw a reunion of the characters but that’s sort of what happened. Still, Twitter went nuts over the reunion and climbed over themselves to react.

Newman looks great compared to Seinfeld and George. That’s something I never thought I’d say. — liezl (@liezl) February 3, 2014
