In the sports world, there’s not much worse than the split jersey. Look – if you want to root for more than one team, that’s fine, but keep it on the down low. And if your two favorite teams and/or players play against each other? Just pick one and quietly root for the other.

Otherwise, you’re going to end up looking like this couple who decided to show off their split fandom:

What the hell.

First off, why would there be any reason to be a fan of Manning and Wilson? Sure – you may like the two players, but it’s not as if they have some unique affiliation towards each other. Secondly, that’s just a jersey foul of the worst kind.

Third? Now you have some weird mockup jersey which features the name ‘Manson’ on the back, which I’m going to suggest probably isn’t a good look given the history of that name.

I’m a much bigger fan of the guy next to them wearing the gold tinfoil outfit. Wonder if those are for sale?
