The Super Bowl post-game press conference of Seattle Seahawks linebacker and MVP Malcolm Smith was crashed by a 9/11 truther. It made people wonder how someone could get through all the security measures at the big game and be in a position to do so. Well, NJ.com landed an interview with Matthew Mills, the man who crashed the presser and he explained how he did it.

It started with an employee bus at the Secaucus Junction, he just hopped on. What about the security badge? He wore won from a festival he covered as an independent journalist that looked some what similar.

From NJ.com:

"He also used a common refrain whenever hassled by security, which is supposed verify each credential or ticket with a barcode along with putting attendees through other security screenings.“I just said I was running late for work and I had to get in there,” Mills said. “It was that simple.”Mills said he got through multiple layers of security using that bogus story.“I didn’t think that I’d get that far,” Mills said. “I just kept getting closer and closer. Once I got past the final gate and into the stadium, I was dumbfounded.”"

You can bet security at next year’s Super Bowl will be tighter because of this.
