The return to the Auburn Tigers for Gus Malzahn was 13 seconds away from a true dream season that ended in the BCS Championship Game, but also included an historic win against rival Alabama and an improbable comeback against Georgia.

Malzahn and Auburn’s success on the field has spilled over onto the recruiting trail where Auburn closed strong last year despite a three-win season and currently have the No. 7 class in the nation according to 247Sports and the No. 5 class in the Southeastern Conference.

Auburn has 20 commitments two days before national signing day on Feb. 5 with five of them already enrolled in classes so they can participate in spring practice and get a head start on their career with the Tigers.

Malzahn and Auburn await the decision of five-star outside linebacker Rashaan Evans (Auburn, Al. Auburn) who announces his college on signing day, and he could join a group that includes these five guys who are absolutely must-have recruits for the class of 2014.
