We are now almost exactly two months away from the release of the next epic adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Last night, during Super Bowl XLVIII, we got our first look at the newest full-length trailer for the upcoming film. Now, you can watch it right here!

Just in case you are not familiar with the premise of the newest installation in the Captain America franchise, here is the official synopsis for Captain America: The Winter Soldier courtesy of IMDb.com.

Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and battles a new threat from old history: the Soviet agent known as the Winter Soldier.”

The trailer is jam packed with action. One of the first scenes we are shown, we see The Winter Soldier fire off an explosive that quickly attaches itself to the bottom of a black SUV. Almost in an instant, the SUV explodes and is sent flying into the air.

However, one of the more intense scenes we see in the trailer is Steve Rogers chasing his former best friend through a building. When Rogers finally catches up to him on the roof of the building, he throws his shield at him in an attempt to stop him. Unfortunately, the Winter Soldier, who we will remember as Steve’s best friend Bucky Barnes, easily catches the shield and throws it right back at Rogers.

Here is a look at the full version of the brand new trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier that aired last night during the Big Game.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is scheduled to be released in RealD 3D, IMAX 3D, and in Conventional Theaters on April 4, 2014.
