The talent in the state of Louisiana is always loaded with talent as the Pelican State is represented well on rosters at LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Alabama and several other colleges across the nation, but this year’s prep talent may end up as being the most talented of all-time.

LSU has 11 of their 19 commitments from Louisiana, but after missing out on five-star recruits Cam Robinson from West Monroe, Gerald Willis and Speedy Noil from New Orleans and four-star Monroe prospects Laurence Jones and Cameron Sims, the potential for LSU to have the No. 1 class was lost.

However, despite missing on these prospects, Les Miles and LSU still have done a fine job on the recruiting trail as they own the No. 4 recruiting class in the nation and the No. 3 class in the Southeastern Conference two days away from national signing day.

It could have been a legendary class of 2014 for the Tigers with 3/5 of the aforementioned recruits, but it still may end up that way because of these five who were absolutely must-have recruits for LSU in the class of 2014.
